Josephian Vehicle Parade 2013

The 39th Joe Pete limited over cricket encounter is scheduled to take place on Saturday 09th March 2013 at the R.Premadasa Stadium. Following batch mate Angelo Matthews being appointed as captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team, the Batch of 2006 will be organizing the Josephian Vehicle Parade for the second successive year.
The inaugural parade which they organized last year saw the participation of over 100 vehicles colorfully decorated in blue and white - the College’s mystic colors. This year the organizers will be giving a special award for the best decorated vehicle to recognize the creativity of participating Josephians. The parade together with the Papare bands will leave the College premises at 8.00am on Saturday morning on a 10km journey through the heart of Colombo on its way to the R.Premadasa Stadium. All Josephians are invited to join the longest vehicle parade in their cars, vans and jeeps all decorated in Blue and White.
