The popular Avurudu Pola organized by the Old Girls’ Association of Visakha Vidyalaya took place once again this year on March 30th,2013 at the school premises from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
This years’ Avurudu Pola featured variety of trade stalls and there were something of interest for every member of the family. Bargains in textiles, household linen, ready-made garments, handicrafts, food items, books and accessories such as costume jewellery, handbags, shoes etc. For the home, bargains in foliage, ceramics and many more household items.
In addition, the special performance of traditional Avurudu Senakeli was a major attraction at the event. All proceeds will be used for school development projects.
